About Sara
I am a committed piano tutor with 14 years of teaching experience, working with students from school, college, and professional backgrounds. I am passionate about making piano learning structured, enjoyable, and rewarding.
My teaching methodology emphasises personalised instruction, clear communication, and patience. I carefully assess each student’s level and goals and create lesson plans that build strong fundamentals such as finger technique, hand coordination, rhythm, and note reading.
I also include music theory, ear training, and rhythm exercises to develop well-rounded musicianship. Lessons are interactive and engaging, often incorporating songs, creative exercises, and performance practice.
I focus on simplifying complex concepts, helping students overcome challenges, and maintaining motivation. I guide students in developing consistent practice routines and self-discipline while fostering confidence and a love for music.

My teaching methodology emphasises holistic, motivational, and creative learning. I believe piano education should balance technical mastery, artistic expression, and creativity while remaining enjoyable and inspiring. Through clear communication, I learn about each student’s goals, challenges, and learning preferences, allowing me to design lessons that are highly personalised and effective.
Creativity is encouraged in every lesson. Students are guided to improvise, compose, and explore different musical genres, helping them develop artistic confidence and a personal musical voice. Flexibility ensures lessons are adapted to the student’s pace, skill level, and learning style, fostering steady progress and long-term growth.
Alongside piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This methodology develops technical mastery, expressive skills, and musical understanding. My aim is to inspire students to become confident, skilled, and lifelong musicians.
