About Soni
I am a committed piano tutor with over 16+ years of experience helping students from school, college, and professional backgrounds improve their musical skills. I believe that piano learning is about more than technique; it is about building confidence, creativity, and a love for music.
My teaching methodology focuses on patience, clear communication, and personalised instruction. I assess each student’s level, goals, and learning style, and design lessons that build strong fundamentals such as finger technique, hand coordination, rhythm, and sight-reading. I also teach music theory, ear training, and rhythm exercises to help students develop complete musicianship.
Lessons are interactive, creative, and engaging, often including song practice, improvisation, and performance opportunities. I specialise in simplifying complex concepts, helping students overcome challenges, and fostering consistent practice habits. My aim is to create a positive, inspiring, and motivating learning environment where students can enjoy learning piano and achieve their full potential.

My teaching style focuses on building confidence through music. I maintain open communication to understand students’ challenges and celebrate their achievements. Creativity is encouraged at every stage, from improvisation to composing original music, allowing students to express themselves freely.
Flexibility is key—I tailor lessons to the student’s level, pace, and learning style, making the learning experience stress-free and enjoyable. I also integrate music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training to create well-rounded musicians. My goal is to develop both skill and self-assurance, helping students enjoy music while growing as confident pianists.
