About Rabiya
A creative, friendly, professional and qualified teacher. I am passionate about teaching, I find the role personally satisfying and valuable to the children I work with.
I’m a great communicator who has the ability to understand a child’s needs. I enjoy planning creative and stimulating lessons, organising work flow and interacting with the children in my class.
Through my years of teaching and with experience within a specialised behaviour management school, I’ve been able to develop a series of strategies to manage unwanted behaviour. I successfully completed my final placement with an 'Outstanding' grade in all teaching standards.
I’m a strong believer of being a reflective teacher as I love learning new and exciting ways of making my lessons more entertaining for children. I think it is important to evaluate your lessons to ensure all children have made some progress.

I believe education is vital to a child’s development and creating a safe, friendly and productive environment for my class to learn carries high significance. I’ve worked with children of all ranges for over 15 years and have been teaching for over six years. I have developed high quality experiences. Whilst teaching a year one class a few years ago, I prepared my class for their phonics assessments through daily practise and offering additional support for the students who needed it. On completion, 29 out of 30 children all passed the assessment. The behaviour of the children in my current class has evidently improved as colleagues have commented on the good listening and respect my children display to others. They are good role-models to other children and positive reinforcement and high expectations ensure excellent behaviour is continually demonstrated by the children. Offering online 1 to 1 tuition for any/all primary subjects.
