About Sara
I am an ordained pastor, educator, and experienced public speaker who works with people from a wide variety of backgrounds every day. My work requires strong communication, writing, proofreading, teaching, and interpersonal skills, and I enjoy helping others develop those same abilities. Whether you are learning English as a new language, preparing for an important exam, writing a resume, or improving your academic writing, I bring patience, encouragement, and practical expertise to every lesson. I understand that learning can be challenging, and I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing in confidence.

**Who Are My Lessons For?**
My lessons are for students of all ages and skill levels, including non-native English speakers, elementary through college students, adult learners, and professionals. Whether you need help with grammar, spelling, writing, reading comprehension, test preparation, resume writing, or proofreading, I can tailor lessons to meet your individual goals.
**My Teaching Method**
I believe students learn best in a supportive and encouraging environment. I begin by assessing your strengths, challenges, and goals, then create personalized lessons that focus on practical skills and real-world application. I use clear explanations, guided practice, constructive feedback, and interactive activities to build both competence and confidence. Lessons move at a pace that is comfortable for you while still providing opportunities for growth.
**Sample Lesson Plan**
1. **Warm-Up (5-10 minutes)**
* Review previous material and discuss any questions.

3. **Guided Practice (15-20 minutes)**
* Complete exercises, conversation practice, editing activities, or writing tasks together.
4. **Independent Application (10 minutes)**
* Apply the new skill through a short writing assignment, reading passage, or speaking exercise.
5. **Review and Next Steps (5 minutes)**
* Summarize key points, provide feedback, and set goals for the next lesson.
Every lesson is customized to help you achieve measurable progress and greater confidence in your English skills.
