About Erin
I am an Ontario Certified Teacher and Bilingual (French/English) Educator experienced in helping students learn French.
My experience includes working as a classroom teacher in Simcoe County teaching elementary students in literacy and French.
I also have an additional qualification in French as a Second Language (FSL).
I am passionate about helping students gain confidence in their speaking abilities and to improve their understanding of the French language. I believe learning French should be a fun and enjoyable experience!

My lessons focus on supporting students from where they are currently and helping them grow their understanding of French, gradually with a step-by-step approach.
My program supports students with:
• Gain confidence in speaking abilities
• Practice introductory phrases
• Uncover the basics of French pronunciation
• Recognize how to read essential keywords
Tutoring or lessons can be designed to support students with a specific project or goal, including in the areas of reading, writing, or speaking.
I can support students at all levels - who are new to French, in core French, or in French Immersion programs.
I am available to support students who are in elementary or high school education.
I am also experienced in supporting neurodiverse students.
How It Works:
1. Determine a goal area to focus on.
2. Set up weekly sessions designed to learn skills in the goal area. During the sessions, we will outline the goal, organize a plan, and review strategies, tools, and resources to work on the targeted skill.
3. Check in weekly and review progress on a regular basis.
Virtual lessons are available via Zoom or in person in Tiny Township and the Midland/Penetanguishene area.
