About Issy
Hi, I’m Issy! I’m currently studying A Levels and achieved mostly A/A* grades at GCSE. I’ve always enjoyed English, French and History, and I really like helping others understand them too. I’m friendly, patient and easy to talk to, which helps students feel more relaxed and confident during lessons. I understand what it’s like to be a student, so I try to make sessions feel supportive rather than stressful. I’m reliable, organised and committed to helping each student improve at their own pace.

My approach to tutoring is to keep things supportive and relaxed so students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence. I focus on explaining things in a clear and simple way, and I adapt each lesson depending on what the student needs and how they learn best. Lessons are usually around an hour long, giving enough time to go through content, practise and recap without it feeling overwhelming. I got mostly A/A* grades at GCSE and have experience helping younger students with homework and revision, especially in English, French and History. My lessons are for primary school and KS3 students who want to improve, feel more confident, or get extra support with school work in a friendly and approachable environment.
