About Ali
I'm Ali. I help engineering students and adult learners understand technical drawings, build CAD models and work through the step that is holding them up. Engineering Drawing, SolidWorks and CATIA are my strongest areas, studied formally alongside Aerospace Engineering at the Institute of Space Technology in Pakistan. My focus is on geometry, design intent and a sensible sequence of steps that makes a model easier to check and improve. I also offer selected Fusion 360, BricsCAD and ArchiCAD support after reviewing the task. We match the lesson to your software version and current skills. I explain and demonstrate the method, then guide you as you create and check your own drawing or model. I teach in English online from Pakistan, with lessons available to students in Toronto and across Canada.

A sketch will not fully define, a feature fails, an assembly moves unexpectedly or a drawing will not plot correctly? Bring your current file or a screenshot. We work through the difficult step and the modelling or drafting decision behind it. Lessons suit university engineering students, college and technical diploma learners, beginners and adults developing CAD skills.
SolidWorks: sketch dimensions and relations, fully defined sketches, extrusions, revolves, cuts, fillets, patterns and design intent. Introductory assemblies cover component positioning and basic mates. Drawing lessons include views, sections and dimensions.
CATIA: sketches, constraints, part features, drawings and introductory assembly tasks. We examine how the model is built and practise a sequence you can repeat, matched to your module and software version.
Engineering Drawing and CAD coursework: interpret a brief, plan a drawing or model, and communicate geometry through orthographic views, sections and dimensions. These lessons can support Engineering Graphics, Computer-Aided Design, Mechanical CAD and relevant mechanical or aerospace design projects.
AutoCAD basics: units, coordinates, object snaps, drawing and editing commands, layers, dimensions, layouts and plotting. Fusion 360 is a secondary area; selected BricsCAD and ArchiCAD tasks are also welcome. Describe the exact task first so I can confirm coverage before booking.
You operate your own software and share your screen. I explain, demonstrate and guide your practice; together we check the result. For assessed projects, you create your own drawings and models and understand the design decisions.
Your first lesson focuses on one achievable task and a useful next practice step. Larger models or assignments may need several sessions. You need access to the agreed software and version.
