About Marni

In addition to my role as a tutor, I have also served as a mentor to students, providing guidance and encouragement as they navigate their academic and personal journeys. I believe in fostering a supportive and nurturing learning environment where students feel empowered to take risks, ask questions, and explore new ideas. Outside of tutoring and mentoring, I am also passionate about fostering a love of learning through creative and engaging activities. In my free time, you can find me playing the piano, reading books, or volunteering with local tutoring groups. I am excited to embark on the next chapter of my journey becoming a tutor and I look forward to meeting you all! :)

About the lesson

In my tutoring sessions, I prioritise active participation and interactive learning. I believe that language acquisition is most effective when students are actively engaged in the learning process. That's why I incorporate a variety of engaging activities, discussions, and exercises into my lessons to keep students motivated and excited about learning Sociology. Furthermore, I strive to create a safe and inclusive space where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and taking risks. I understand that making mistakes is a natural part of the learning process, and I encourage my students to embrace their mistakes as opportunities for growth and improvement.
