Janie studied for an M level PGCE qualification at University College London Institute of Education. As a Subject Tutor I was in contact with her on a regular basis between September 2016 and June 2017.

Janie was extremely enthusiastic about her chosen career and demonstrated an extremely strong commitment to the course and to teaching. At the end of the course she was assessed to be outstanding as a trainee teacher.

Her planning was detailed, appropriate for the secondary age group and based on high expectations of all the pupils she taught. Janie’s subject knowledge of chemistry and biology was excellent. She was able to produce high quality resources for all the classes she taught.

She had a good record of attendance and punctuality. I strongly recommend that she be considered as a personal tutor.
