About Ruby
I am currently on track to obtain a 1:1 in my History degree at the University of Birmingham, and I also have A-Levels in History, Mathematics, and English Literature. At GCSE, I obtained eight A* and five A grades. I have one year of tutoring experience.

I am an experienced in delivering Mathematics tuition to secondary school pupils of all abilities. I am passionate about supporting young people to reach their full potential, and to expand the opportunities available to them in their futures. I find the process of tutoring hugely rewarding as it allows me to watch students’ confidence grow week-to-week as they understand their subject better, and can demonstrate newly obtained skills.
My style of tutoring is adaptive, and I tailor lessons to each student’s personality and learning style. I ensure that my students firstly fully comprehend the fundamentals of a topic, and then we work on applying their knowledge to practice exam questions. I typically offer lessons of 1 or 2 hours, but I'm happy to adjust this depending on your child's needs.
