I come from a musical family in Tasmania, Australia, and music has been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. I now live in Brazil, where I’m immersed in the rich world of Brazilian music while continuing my work as a professional music teacher and performer. I have a deep love for composition and enjoy going outside the box—exploring diverse styles, singing, and playing harmonica. I’m passionate about music theory and how it helps us unlock new creative possibilities. For me, music is not just a skill—it’s a source of energy, connection, and peace for the human soul. My goal as a teacher is to help you experience that same joy and depth in your own musical journey.

I’ve been a professional guitar teacher for over 20 years, and I’ve also performed extensively in a wide range of musical styles and settings. My life is fully dedicated to both mastering the art of music and sharing it through education. I had the privilege of studying with some of the best teachers in Australia, who taught me techniques that not only sound beautiful but also protect the body—allowing students to play for long periods without strain or injury. I bring this deep foundation, along with patience, clarity, and a passion for helping others, to every lesson I teach.
