About Sahil Prit
I'm currently in my final year of an Economics BSc at Aston University, graduating June 2026. My science background comes from sixth form, where I completed an Extended Diploma in Applied Science with D*D*D* —the highest possible grade, covering chemistry, biology, and physics in depth.
For the past few years I've been a tutor privately and with Cohort Tuition, supporting GCSE and A-Level students in maths, sciences and English. I plan each lesson around the individual student, adapting pace and explanation style to how they learn. My approach centres on exam technique as much as content, knowing the material isn't the same as knowing how to score for it.

Every lesson is mapped to your child's specific GCSE Chemistry exam board — AQA, Edexcel, or OCR. We work through one syllabus topic at a time, combining clear explanations with past-paper practice and a strong focus on exam technique, particularly in the high-mark areas where students lose marks: moles calculations, equilibria, organic mechanisms, and the required practicals.
Sessions are taught online through Zoom or Google Meet using a shared interactive whiteboard, so your child can follow along step by step and keep their notes for revision later.
Once a month, parents receive a written report covering progress, strengths, weaknesses, and upcoming priorities.
