About Kseniia
I am a Biochemistry student specialising in Stem Cells, Regeneration and Ageing; Cancer; and Medical Glycobiology. I have a 4-year history of securing summer internships in research laboratories, both in Russia and in the UK - hence I am able to provide advice in this field. My latest internship project was in developing pre-erythrocytic malaria vaccine constructs at Oxford University (Summer, 2022). My current goal is to secure a PhD position and leave an impact in research, as well as to start teaching and have an opportunity to show younger students how fun and interesting science is!

I am ready to carefully listen to the requests of the student to identify areas of weaker understanding. This will allow to structure the lesson in the way that will maximise the result. I am willing to ensure that complex topics are delivered in the way the student can find interesting and understandable. I aim to build the knowledge in any topic starting from building solid basics and expanding on it, as well as to provide an important insight into exam technique and efficient revision strategy depending on the student's preferred learning style.
During my internship in a Russian Academy of Sciences, I adapted RNA-sequencing material and taught it to high-school students in a way that they could then apply learnt techniques individually.
The lessons I offer are one hour long, and I aim to teach GCSE and A-level students.
