About Mathilde
TIMETABLE : Saturday / Sunday 6 am to 3 pm (London time) I am a native speaker and teach French as a foreign language. My teaching has two parts: 1) Grammar/Spelling: examples and detailed explanations 2) Expression part: Dialogue, Writing and Listening exercises to use the new grammar to express his idea on a topic of his choice (his favourite movie, anime, book, whatever).

Bonjour! I am a 23-year-old French native speaker currently finishing my master’s degree in France. My school is composed of 60% of foreigners and it has been a few years since I volunteer to teach people around me my mother tongue. The persons I teach French are Chinese, Japanese, English, or Spanish speakers. I can speak English and a little bit of Spanish, and I am currently learning Japanese! You can rest assured that I know what it means to learn a foreign language. I think the most important thing is to be motivated and find a reason to learn French. It doesn’t need to be something work or study related, learning a language should be first a pleasure and seen as a leisure. My teaching has two parts: the ‘grammar/spelling part’, with examples and detailed explanations. As well as an ‘expression part’ in which I encourage the student to use the new grammar to express his idea on a topic of his choice (his favourite movie, anime, book, whatever). This will allow enhancing the student's oral, writing and listening skill as we will be having a conversation. I am myself currently a foreigner in another country at the moment and I noticed I learn very fast when I can discuss naturally with people around me. I believe experience is the best way to remember the grammar structure and be able to use it naturally. Au plaisir de te rencontrer et à très vite !
