About Ali
I'm Ali. I help mechanical and aerospace engineering students understand difficult concepts, work through calculations and explain their own engineering decisions. My strongest teaching areas are thermodynamics, solid mechanics, dynamics and control systems, supported by MATLAB and Simulink.
My academic training in Aerospace Engineering at the Institute of Space Technology in Pakistan focuses on guidance, navigation and control. My project work includes MATLAB/Simulink modeling of a vehicle that combines flight and ground movement, connecting equations, simulation and control design.
I explain the physical meaning before the mathematics, check understanding and give you time to practice. Questions are welcome, including the foundational ones.
I teach in English, online from Pakistan, supporting learners in Raleigh and across the United States.

Get help understanding engineering homework, assignments and projects, from thermodynamics and mechanics to MATLAB/Simulink control models. We identify what is blocking your progress, work through the reasoning and help you apply it to your own work.
You can bring an unfinished attempt or ask where to begin.
Choose your lesson focus
Concepts: connect the physical system to its equations and understand why the method works.
Homework and assignments: understand the brief, choose a method and review your calculations.
Projects and simulations: debug code or models, compare outputs with theory and explain your engineering decisions.
Midterms and finals: practice exam problems, show clear working and check your answers.
Your first lesson
In your free 60-minute introductory lesson, we focus on one representative difficulty. We clarify the system, assumptions and unknowns, work through an example, and check units, signs and physical meaning. You then try the next step with feedback. We finish with a practical plan for what to practice next. Individual lessons are available before you consider a pack.
Thermodynamics, Heat and Mass Transfer
First and second laws, closed and open systems, energy balances, entropy and thermodynamic cycles; conduction, convection, radiation, thermal resistance and heat exchangers. Introductory diffusion and Fick's-law calculations can be matched to your course.
Engineering Mechanics and Materials
Statics and dynamics: free-body diagrams, equilibrium, friction, kinematics, Newton's laws, work and energy, impulse and momentum. Solid Mechanics, Mechanics of Materials and Strength of Materials: stress and strain, axial loading, torsion, shear-force and bending-moment diagrams, beam bending and deflection. Engineering and Aerospace Materials: properties, selection and failure behavior.
Control Systems, MATLAB and Simulink
Differential-equation models, transfer functions, block diagrams, state space, time response, stability, root locus, Bode plots, gain and phase margins, and PID control. MATLAB: scripts, functions, plotting, debugging and numerical calculations. Simulink: model building, troubleshooting and interpreting simulation results.
Related courses and project skills
You are welcome to ask about subjects beyond the five listed tags. Support is matched to your syllabus, level and representative task:
Engineering mathematics: calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, matrices, eigenvalues, Laplace transforms, numerical analysis and Probability in Engineering.
Aerospace: Aero Vehicle Performance; Flight Dynamics and Stability; Flight Control Systems; Stability and Control of Aerospace Vehicles; Guidance and Navigation; Spacecraft Dynamics and Control; Propulsion and Power Systems; Aero Vehicle Design; Spacecraft Design; and Introduction to Aerospace Engineering.
Computing and design: introductory Python and C++, selected AI applications in Python, engineering drawing, and SolidWorks sketches, parts, assemblies and drawings. Engineering Management and Human Factors Engineering topics can also be considered.
Lessons mainly support college and undergraduate engineering, with selected foundational, technical diploma and graduate topics agreed in advance.
Include your course, the topic or step you find difficult, and any deadline in your lesson request. A question, screenshot or short example is helpful if available. I will check the scope and availability before accepting your request.

I know Ali as the person who helped me go from being stuck in coding basics to writing working programs confidently. His style is very hands on, he makes you write code, debug it properly, and understand logic, not just copy solutions. We covered computer programming with Python and C++, plus HTML basics and MATLAB for engineering style problem solving, and he always kept the sessions clear and goal focused. I recommend Ali because he is reliable, patient, and very professional, and his programming methodology makes online lessons feel organized and productive.
I know Ali through our engineering and aerospace study circle, and I have seen his teaching methodology up close. He explains aeronautics and mechanical engineering with a structured, step by step approach, then connects it to real applications like flight dynamics, control systems, and automatic systems, so it actually makes sense instead of feeling like theory. He is consistent, punctual, and serious about student progress, he keeps sessions interactive, checks understanding, and fixes weak points fast. I recommend Ali on Superprof because he is genuinely trustworthy, technically strong, and he teaches engineering in a practical way that helps students perform.
