About Stergios

Hello, I am Stergios, a classical guitarist and teacher based in Thessaloniki, Greece. I studied classical guitar at the Municipal Conservatory of Thessaloniki, Music Studies at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with a specialization in music technology, and Harmony at the New Conservatory of Thessaloniki.
I also teach on a bachelor’s degree course in music technology, so I am used to explaining music clearly and step by step to students of every level.
I am patient, organized and passionate about the classical guitar. My goal is for every student to enjoy playing and make steady progress. I speak English and Greek fluently.

About the lesson

I teach classical guitar online to children and adults, from complete beginners to advanced players. I hold a classical guitar diploma from the Municipal Conservatory of Thessaloniki, a degree in Music Studies from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and a diploma in Harmony from the New Conservatory of Thessaloniki.
Every lesson lasts 60 minutes and is built around the student. A typical lesson includes a short warm-up, work on technique and posture, and repertoire you enjoy, from classical pieces to simple songs. I also help with reading music and understanding the theory behind what you play, at your own pace.
I work with a small number of students, so each one gets my full attention. Lessons are in English or Greek.
