About Ranjan
I'm a highly experienced Business English Language Coach. I have taught in the UK and abroad for 13 years. Before that I worked in finance. I am also a film maker, life coach, blogger and journalist. I have mainly taught banking professionals including lawyers, engineers, accountants, consultants, computer programmers, rick managers, HR, traders, fund managers, security professionals, anti-fraud, originators, private wealth managers, marketing and managers. But I have taught non banking professionals too! I have special methods to motivate and increase learners confidence very quickly.

Anyone can learn a list of words. But knowing HOW and WHEN to use them, that's a skill. And it's a skill that can be learned. Once learners identify their specific field of interest eg Economics, Medicine, Technology, I help them go beyond learning vocabulary towards listening and reading creatively in order to speak and write with the phrases and expressions that they find most useful. MOTIVATION IS EVERYTHING. I always keep things moving, high-paced, and exciting for the learner. I like to use the latest articles from the news for reading exercises but also the latest books, radio and TV.
