About Lauren
Hi, I’m Lauren, a biology tutor with a strong academic and research background in human biology. I hold a Bachelor of Science (Human Biology) graduating with Distinction as well as First Degree Honours in Immunology. My expertise spans microbiology, immunology, genetics, and infectious diseases, and I’m passionate about making complex biological concepts easy to understand. I have hands-on research experience from Burnet Institute, where I worked in a PC2 lab assisting with research on foam cells in cardiovascular disease and targeting HIV infected macrophages to assess cure strategies. In addition, I currently work as a Clinical Trials Coordinator testing Phase I pharmaceuticals. My experience in both laboratory and clinical settings allows me to connect biological concepts to real-world applications, making learning more relevant and interesting and allowing me to explain complex information in ways that are easy to understand.

Perfect! Lauren was amazing! She is so good at explaining everything and was extremely helpful with answering all my questions.
