About Yu Zhen

Hello! I am a dedicated and passionate Chinese tutor committed to helping young learners build strong language skills and lasting confidence. Having worked directly with Grade 4 and 5 students for over a year, I understand the unique learning styles and developmental needs of this age group.

My approach combines structured, curriculum-aligned instruction with an encouraging, patient environment where students feel safe to ask questions, practice speaking, and learn from mistakes. I believe that mastering a language should be an empowering and enjoyable journey.

When you study with me, you can expect a reliable, highly organized, and professional tutor who is genuinely invested in every student's academic growth and success.

About the lesson

My teaching philosophy centers on making Chinese engaging, accessible, and structured for young learners. I use interactive methods—such as visual aids, guided reading, conversational practice, and educational games—to build both confidence and strong language foundations.

Each lesson is carefully structured to balance character recognition, stroke order, vocabulary expansion, and practical speaking skills, ensuring students remain focused and motivated.
