About Leonie
I have been giving private English conversation lessons for over two years with many students staying with me for years. I graduated top of my class, getting a 1st class degree and I am now an award-winning professional in the theatre industry. The English language is not just a passion but I have built my career around it.
I have coached students through MBA interview processes at Ivy League universities; I have helped CEOs present their companies to English speakers and build their profiles; I have helped foreign nationals in the UK feel more confident and integrated into their lives in the UK.

I specialise in British English conversation and job interview practice. I most often work with professionals and international students for whom English fluency is key to their professional success. My focus is on making students sound clear and coherent, with an emphasis on accuracy in what they are trying to articulate.
I focus on making students sound fluent by teaching natural phrasing and intonation as well as introducing key components of British culture into conversations. My skills lie in developing skills quickly and building confidence with new words and phrases.
I see students regularly and empower them to develop their own correction skills. Classes are an open and welcome space where students can make mistakes and learn the nuances of the English language. Through short homework tasks and review sessions I ensure that students get the most out of their class and retain the new knowledge that our lessons give them.
Conversation Class:
Discuss a topic of your choice and learn about English culture. Build your confidence and learn natural English phrases.
Mock Interview Class:
Practice for job and course interviews and develop the skills you need to succeed. Learn how to share your work experience with English speaking employers.
Proof Reading Class:
Proof reading and editing of business presentations, applications, emails and essays. Learn how to improve your formal English writing and to communicate like a native speaker.
Learn from a native speaker with over 2 years experience teaching professionals and students.
Lessons last 45 minutes with feedback and homework sent afterwards. Lessons cost £25 per class.
