About Rob
I am a joint-honours student at the University of Cambridge, researching and studying languages at a Higher Level. Language learning through the British/American education system can often be superficial, and when it suddenly pushes students into the deep end many feel like they do not receive enough support. I prioritise close engagement with students through analysis of native texts and material outside of the textbook because that‘s what I believe the majority of students miss out on. All of us can be bilingual— it’s just about proving it with that extra little bit of support.

Encouraging role play and creative writing to push language versatility and vocabulary further as well as analysis of texts and reinterpretation (summaries) to secure comprehension. I offer a written weekly report on use of grammar, vocabulary and overall pronunciation in sessions. 1 hour sessions over Zoom once to twice a week. A-Level/IB, GCSE and beginner-advanced language learners all welcome.
