About Peiling
Since graduating rom Berklee College of Music in Boston with a Bachelors Degree in Music Film Scoring, I found myself in LA working both in music production as well as the music education sector. At Terry Woodson Music, I have the opportunity to experience working with on projects for musicians such as Amy Grant, Monica Mancini, Frank Stallone, Maureen McGovern, David Gaines and many more. In addition, I especially to have work with a team of very talented musicians for some big productions such as Michael Jackson's "40th Anniversary as Solo Artist" concert, Michael Bolton's Summer Tour, Barry Manilow's "Scores: Songs from Copacabana and Harmony" in 2004 and Bette Midler's "Sings the Rosemary Clooney Songbook" in 2003.
During my time in the States, I conducted group (YMC and JMC) and individuals lessons at the Yamaha Music School in LA alongside my main employment in music production under Terry Woodson (who was once Henry Mancini's trombonist, now managing his entire library of music). After gaining the experiences in LA, I moved a little closer to home - Singapore.
The first interview there landed me with some promising work at one of the primary private music schools in Singapore (which is consistently very high ranking in education globally) in Seimpi Academy. I was employed as an MIM (Music for the Intelligent Mind) teacher, conducting group and individual classes teaching ages varying from 3-71. Upon my promotion in 2012, my roles were to train potential teachers for Seimpi and to produce theory online classes. During my last few years at Seimpi, I was commissioned to write music theory workbooks for Grades 1 to 5 (ABRSM syllabus. I am currently researching my way to write Grade 6 music theory workbook(s).

Intuitive and experienced piano instructor. Welcome all students whether you are looking to focus on graded examination or you just love music and want to learn to play piano.
Offers lesson for all graded piano lessons (ABRSM, LCM, TCM), exam pieces, sight-reading, scales and arpeggios, and aural training. Music theory of all grades (ABRSM). Particularly adept and enjoy conducting group music theory classes.
Forte in music group classes of max 2 to 5 students age of 3, 4 or 5. Activities such as flashcards of musical terms and theory, music and movements and fun music games to make learning music at young age fun.
Enjoyable individual classes whether you are learning piano for graded exam or just for leisure, whether you are 4 years old or 74 years old.
