About Sedra
Arabic was my first language, even though I was born and raised mainly in the UK, and it is very rewarding to be able to teach young children and adults (especially those who come from a non-arab background) the basics of arabic which will allow them to eventually read the Qur'an. I love teaching and I know I have a very unique and interactive method of teaching which works especially well with younger children.

With over 3 years of experience teaching Arabic, Qaeda and Qur'an - both in person in a school setting and online tutoring I am able to deliver my lessons in a unique and interactive way. I believe in accomadating to suit my learner, in order to achieve the best of results. I use many accredited resources that help especially non-arab speakers to develop a ground understanding of the arabic language basics - specifically when working through the Qaeda book which helps learners to eventually know how to read the Qur'an.
I have experience in teaching ages as young as 6 years old up to young adults.

She has taught my daughter and son for the past 5 months and they are nearly finished with the Qaeda book and have made amazing progress - they are now able to read some short surahs from the Quran fluently! I wasn’t keen on online lessons but she interacts with the children so well it’s as good as an in-person lesson!
