About Rukaya
Hi! I'm a friendly and patient person who enjoys helping others understand things that may feel difficult at first. Having recently finished my A-levels, I understand how stressful exams and revision can be and I am aware everyone learns differently. I am approachable and happy to explain things in different ways rather than expecting students to understand a concept right away. My lessons will ensure the student feels comfortable and supported, while still helping the student make real progress and feel more comfortable in their abilities.

My lessons are designed to make GCSE Combined Science feel clear, manageable and less overwhelming. I use a personalised approach, starting by identifying the student's current understanding, strengths and areas of improvement. Lessons include clear explanations, worked examples, exam-style questions, homework and reviewing answers together to improve exam technique.
I achieved 9-9 in AQA GCSE Combined Science and have recently completed A-level Biology and Chemistry, so I understand the demands of science exams.
My lessons are aimed at AQA GCSE Combined Science students in Year 9-11 or earlier. Lessons will typically be 1 hour long and will be done online on a one-to-one basis.
