About Kevin
I am a biology PGCE student with degrees in Sport and Exercise Science (BSc) and Nutrition Science (MSc). I also have qualifications in soft tissue therapy and personal training. All of this has given me a great understanding of biochemistry and physiology, and how to apply it via a scientific approach.
I also have two years of experience in teaching (ages 3 - 40), albeit in an ESL environment, however, I believe this demonstrates my ability to relay difficult, or even complex, information to an assumed lay audience.

I have a very individualised approach to teaching, as I understand that not everybody learns in the same way, and I don't assume any prior knowledge on a subject. I prefer to find out what you already know, then build on this and fill any gaps that may exist.
I like my students to be critically analytical, which is something I also teach along the way. I believe it is a very important tool and it allows students to become more independent with what they have learned in the future.
I really enjoy the subjects in which I specialize in and have the knowledge and capability to teach from basic to degree level.
