About DOREEN
I started my professional career in nursing since age 17 and will always be a nurse. It is a wisest choice and a trade I have been at and especially when having to raise own family. I worked for more than a decade in clinical nursing areas (paediatrics, medical & surgical, central sterilizing department, recovery room, accidents and emergency, midwifery, obstetrics and gynaecology, antenatal clinics, rural nursing, public health). I have worked with The National Department of Health for more than a decade, than taught at The university of Papua New Guinea (UPNG) as a Coordinator of The Advanced Acute Care Nursing program from 1990 - 1999. Than in 2000 I worn an Australian Award Scholarship to do Master of Audiology Studies at The University of Queensland and successfully graduated on Dec 12, 2002. I have also worked with various Hearing Health Providers in Australia under a business visas and have really appreciated the opportunities, challenges and experiences.
