About Gina
I am a recipient of the National Science Teaching Association's Maitland P. Simmons Award (2024-2025). I previously worked at and published research as a PhD student at the University of Miami. I currently hold Florida teaching certifications in Elementary Education K-6, Biology 6-12, and Gifted Education. I also conduct biological research in partnership with various colleges and government agencies.
