About Shekhar
I am currently pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at NIT Durgapur and am an ICPC Regionalist with over 800 problems solved across major coding platforms. My academic background and competitive programming experience have helped me build strong foundations in C, C++, and Data Structures.
I approach teaching with seriousness and responsibility. Every session is planned according to the student’s current level, and I ensure that concepts are explained clearly before moving forward. I value punctuality, structured learning, and measurable improvement.
Students can expect well-prepared sessions, focused problem-solving practice, and honest feedback. I do not believe in shortcuts or memorized tricks. My goal is to help learners build real understanding so they can write code confidently on their own.

My teaching approach is structured, practical, and focused on deep understanding rather than memorization.
I believe programming becomes easy once the fundamentals are clear. Instead of rushing into complex problems, I make sure students fully understand the basics such as variables, loops, functions, memory concepts, pointers, and recursion before moving to data structures and problem-solving.
A typical class is structured as follows:
First, we revise the core concept in a simple and intuitive way. Then we solve carefully chosen problems that build understanding step-by-step. I encourage students to think aloud and attempt solutions themselves, and I guide them by correcting logic rather than just giving answers. At the end of each session, I provide structured practice tasks based on their level.
My teaching techniques include:
Breaking down complex concepts into simple logical steps
Explaining internal working of C and C++ (like memory and pointers)
Teaching problem-solving patterns instead of isolated solutions
Providing a clear roadmap tailored to the student’s current level
What makes my sessions different is the focus on building thinking ability. Since I am an ICPC Regionalist and have solved over 800 problems, I emphasize how to approach new problems logically and efficiently.
