Hi, I'm Niki and I'm a medical student at the University of Manchester! I studied Biology (A), Chemistry (A) and Spanish (A*) for A Level and have been tutoring GCSE sciences for two years

About Niki
I am currently studying Medicine at the University of Manchester I studied Biology (A), Chemistry (A) and Spanish (A*) for A Level and have been tutoring GCSE sciences for almost five years I have students currently with a wide variety of abilities ranging from current grades of 4s all the way to grade 8 students pushing for 9s, so have experienced how to go about different aims. Usually my lesson style depends on the student, what they like, how they learn and strengths and weaknesses. I like to make my lessons interactive and engaging to motivate students to enjoy their subjects and not think of them so much as a chore. My overall aim is to hopefully strengthen students' abilities in their subjects and improve their confidence and show them what they previously could not do, isn't so daunting! I am familiar with AQA, Edexcel and OCR for GCSE as well as iGCSE too Look forward to hearing from you!
Many of my students stay with me from Year 10 through to Year 13, and I also support with UCAT preparation, personal statements and medical interviews (I work alongside the university facilitating medicine interviews), so I’m very used to mentoring students who are considering Medicine long term.
