About Michelle
Hi there! My name is Michelle and I have 11 years of language tutoring experience. I am a native English and Mandarin speaker. I graduated from UCLA with summa cum laude and phi beta kappa honors. I learned French in high school and Italian in university where I received the best french major award and best french research essay award.
I know first hand how challenging it feels to learn a language from scratch and what it takes to become fluent. I believe that each individual learns differently so I try to find creative ways of helping each student. Apart from tutoring at the high school and university level, I have even taught English in Italy to babies and children through song. I would love the opportunity to get to know you and help you find ways of learning language that suit you!
