About Syed
I know first-hand what it takes to succeed academically because I've been through the journey myself. I achieved strong GCSE and A Level results, earned a place at medical school, and now work as an NHS Doctor. Unlike many students today, I did this without private tutors or special advantages. I come from a normal background and had to learn how to work smart, stay motivated, and overcome challenges along the way.
Throughout medical school, I mentored aspiring medical students with UCAT preparation, interview and MMI practice, study techniques, and application advice. I have also supported medical students with OSCE preparation and exam strategy, helping them navigate the demands of medical school successfully.
What sets me apart is my ability to connect with students. I understand the pressures of exams, school, and career decisions because I have experienced them myself. My teaching style is friendly, engaging and easy to understand. I break down difficult concepts into simple steps, helping students build confidence while making learning enjoyable.
Whether you're preparing for Grammar School entrance exams, GCSEs, A Levels, Medical School applications or OSCEs, my goal is not only to help you achieve excellent results but also to develop the mindset, confidence and skills needed for long-term success.

As an NHS Doctor with extensive tutoring and mentoring experience, I provide personalised, results-driven lessons for students at every stage of their academic journey.
For aspiring medical students, I offer specialist mentoring including UCAT preparation, Medical School Interview and MMI coaching, application guidance, study skills and insider advice on securing a place at medical school. During medical school, I mentored A Level students applying to medicine and have since helped numerous students navigate the admissions process successfully.
I also provide OSCE coaching and academic mentoring for medical students, helping with exam preparation, clinical skills, revision strategies and succeeding throughout medical school.
For GCSE Maths and Chemistry, I focus on building strong foundations, exam technique, confidence and achieving top grades. Having achieved A* and A grades myself and successfully progressed through medical school, I understand what it takes to excel academically.
I have many years of experience preparing students for Grammar School entrance exams, helping pupils gain places at highly competitive schools across the UK through structured teaching, targeted practice and proven exam strategies.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and are tailored to each student's strengths, weaknesses and goals. My teaching style is supportive, engaging and focused on developing both academic success and long-term confidence.
