I am a primary school teacher, with a degree in education and childhood studies. I have taught year 2 and year 3 but I was a TA in years 4 - 6 and know the curriculum. I have experience working with children with SEND and my teaching is focused on the child rather than the learning.

I follow the curriculum so that the child is making necessary steps, however I base my teaching around what they already know and where their gaps are. I assess their current standing, plan and build on the skills, while making sure the foundations are secure.
