About Courtney
As a pre-physician assistant student, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Texas A&M University with a 3.8 GPA and was a chemistry tutor during my time there. I then worked for two years as both a medical assistant and CNA for two years after graduating prior to beginning PA school. I recently graduated with my Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in May 2024 with a 3.9 GPA and have scored above the national average on nearly all exams written by PAEA, which include emergency medicine, family medicine, OBGYN, pediatrics, internal medicine, general surgery, and psychiatry. I am starting my first PA job in Oncology in August and can't wait! Outside of my career, I enjoy gardening, hiking, cooking adventurous meals, and traveling. I am excited to meet you and hear about your passions!

I love to empower students to really understand the "why" and "how" behind science and to help others grow a passion for these exciting subjects. I do this by simplifying complex concepts, building a strong foundation for your knowledge to expand upon, and providing an interactive experience with each lesson. A typical session will begin with what you are having the most difficulty with, a refresh on the basics, thorough teaching to help you gain confidence to tackle any difficult test question, room for Q&A, and providing several worksheet problems to apply during or after the lesson. My lessons are for undergraduate students who are completing prerequisites for medical school, PA school, dental school, nursing school, or veterinary school. I am also happy to provide tutoring for PA students. If you are tired of feeling like you only know the bare minimum and are not confident in your studies for your future, know that you are not alone and I am on your team to help you excel!
