I have a BA in Political Science from UCLA, and have worked at a community college's tutoring center for 4 years tutoring Political Science, English, and ESL. I also help in all grade level subjects, but I specialize in writing!

There is no one way to learn a lesson, therefore there isn't one way of teaching it. We all learn differently, so assessing a lesson plan from different angles is how I like to conduct my tutoring session. Also based on experience tutoring can be stressful for students, so creating a friendly environment, where students can explore their creativity and learn about their own learning method is crucial to a successful session.

Perfect! If you’re looking for a Farsi teacher, look no further! Souzan is your girl! Fluent in both Farsi and Arabic, Souzan is phenomenal at making the language-learning experience ACTUALLY approachable for English speakers with zero experience. Whether you want to learn how to read/write/or speak Farsi, Souzan will work at your pace and make sure you are motivated and enjoying your journey as a foreign language student. She truly knows how to accommodate her students, build a strong teacher-student alliance, and make her lessons fun! Definitely one of the most personable teachers I’ve ever had. She is the best!
