About Rachel
Hi, I'm Rachel, a university student with a strong passion for science and helping others learn. I achieved Grade 8s in GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics (Triple Science) and understand both the content and the challenges students face when preparing for their exams.
As a recent GCSE student, I have a clear understanding of the current curriculum and the exam techniques needed to succeed. I know that science can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I aim to explain difficult concepts in a way that is clear, patient and easy to understand.
I believe the best learning happens when students feel comfortable asking questions, so I create a friendly and supportive environment where there is no pressure or judgment. Every lesson is tailored to the individual student's needs, whether they need help understanding a topic, completing homework, preparing for mock exams or building confidence ahead of their GCSEs.
I am reliable, well-prepared and committed to helping every student reach their full potential. My goal is not only to improve grades but also to help students develop confidence in their own abilities and enjoy learning science.

My lessons are designed for GCSE students who want to improve their understanding of Biology, Chemistry or Physics, whether they're aiming to pass, boost their grades or achieve the highest marks.
As a recent GCSE student myself, I understand which topics students often find challenging and how the exams are structured. I explain concepts in a simple, approachable way, breaking down difficult ideas into manageable steps before reinforcing them with practice questions and exam-style examples.
A typical lesson begins by identifying any areas the student is struggling with or reviewing content from school. We then work through the topic together using clear explanations, diagrams where helpful and plenty of opportunities for questions. Towards the end of the lesson, we'll complete GCSE-style questions to build confidence and improve exam technique, followed by a recap of the key points covered.
I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit each individual. My goal is to create a relaxed, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions without worrying about getting things wrong.
My lessons are exclusively for GCSE students studying Biology, Chemistry and Physics, whether they are following Combined Science or Triple Science courses. I am happy to support students who need help keeping up in class, preparing for mock exams or working towards their final GCSE examinations.
