About Enriketa
PROFILE
I am a final year Neuroscience student, and have been tutoring for over 3 months now. I have taught 1 to 1 lessons only so far, and provide exam tips and techniques, revision help, homework preparation, and in-depth analogies to explain theories.
SKILLS
I am tech-savvy, communicative, and have excellent attention to detail.
As well as English, I am fluent in Lithuanian, Russian, Polish and have good knowledge of Spanish.
I am a fast learner and can adapt my skills to unknown scenarios.
EXPERIENCE
Freelance writer and tutor — January 2020-Present
During university, I assist students who are struggling, due to language barriers and other struggles, with their university work, such as assignments. I provide help with structuring and other writing tips. Not only am I helping students achieve the best grades, but I am also improving my own communication and compassion skills.
Bartender, the farmers arms; Poynton — august 2018-present
Along with studying, I work at a busy restaurant a couple of times per week. I have experience in dealing with pressure and unhappy customers, as well as sometimes demanding duties of serving the bar and waitressing during busy hours.
Carer, Carmel Lodge — August 2018 - December 2018
I provided care for residents living with Dementia - proving entertainment as well as fua part-time carer in a Residential home for residents with Dementia, assisting them with their daily needs. Most residents required full care and assistance, including feeding, washing and other forms of engagement.
Volunteer, Macclesfield General Hospital — April 2017 - April 2018
I brought positivity into a hospital environment, as I assisted hospital staff in the nursing of patients on wards for gastrointestinal rehab and respiratory care for the elderly. Responsibilities included serving patients’ meals, feeding patients with full-assistance needs, and other administrative jobs.
Shadowing cardiology department, Wythenshawe Hospital — July 2017
I shadowed cardiology specialists during patient appointment, assisted in patient ECGs, and visited intensive care units. This gave an insight into the fast-paced clinical environment of the cardiology department, and was informative regarding a typical specialist day.

I teach topics based on theory, then finish up the topic with quick fire drill questions, plus exam questions on the topic. On an individual basis, I might then spend one lesson revising previous topics that we have learnt. A lot of the teaching will be based on the key words which examiners look for, and additional ways to remember difficult themes.
