About Hayden Paul

I have been doing Public Speaking since I was but a wee lad. I still remember how nervous I was to get up in front of a room full of people, have ALL the attention on me, and try and convince them that I was worth listening to. I was ten years old. Since that day, I fell in love with the rush. The adrenaline before the speech, the nerves coming to a boil while you are waiting for the adjudicator to call your name...and then the thing I fell most in love with:

Looking around, seeing all these faces intently listening...and connecting with them through what I was saying.

The connection between audience and speaker is something often overlooked, and I made it my personal plight to ensure that I connect with every single person in that audience. I did Public Speaking all throughout my schooling career, and it has taught me valuable life skills that I wouldn't have learnt otherwise.

About the lesson

In my lessons, I don't just teach Public Speaking or help with English. I am helping my learners develop a confidence in themselves that they will apply to other areas of their lives outside of learning this skill/language. Being able to effectively communicate your point/argument is such a crucial life skill that not everyone has the opportunity to learn. That is where I come in. :)
