About Melisa Askin
Hi! I’m a native Turkish speaker currently studying Business and Management at university in London. I’ve been teaching for several years and have really enjoyed helping students improve their language skills and become more confident.
As Turkish is my first language, I can help you learn not only correct grammar and vocabulary, but also how Turkish is naturally spoken in everyday life. I’m friendly, patient and happy to adapt my lessons to each student’s level and goals.
Whether you’re learning Turkish for travel, work, university, family or simply because you’re interested in the language, I’d love to help you feel more comfortable and confident speaking Turkish.

My lessons are relaxed, practical and adapted to each student’s level and goals. I focus on helping you actually use Turkish in real-life situations rather than simply memorising grammar rules.
We can work on speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, listening or everyday conversation, depending on what you want to improve. For beginners, I can build the lessons step by step, while more advanced students can focus on becoming more fluent and confident when speaking.
Each lesson is usually 40 minutes, and I’m happy to work with students of different ages and levels. Whether you’re learning Turkish for travel, work, family, or simply because you’re interested in the language, we can make the lessons fit your needs.
