About Ilya
I am a student of Philosophy, born abroad (and therefore, a native speaker of English and Spanish, I am bilingual). As a philosophy student I have studied English, Latin, Greek and French which gave me all the grammatical knowledge necessary to teach a language. In addition, I have been very interested in the pedagogy necessary to teach a language, which allowed me to resort to forms of teaching that are not rigid but very effective. I have been teaching English conversation and grammar for three years now.

My approach in the classes is, on the one hand, grammatical and, on the other, pragmatic, that is, I focus both on the syntactic structure of sentences and on the different uses that are given to said structures. In this way, I transmit up-to-date English (both American and UK). In addition, I try to adapt each class to the personal interests of the student so that the knowledge they acquire is relevant and useful. In this way, my classes are aimed at both high school students and college students.

Perfect! Ilya es un excelente profesor. Adapta las clases a las necesidades de uno cada alumno y las clases son dinámicas y divertidas. Desde el principio le dije que necesitaba mucha conversación y adaptó las clases para que la segunda media hora de cada una sea todo conversación, a pesar de que mi inglés es muy básico, me ayuda a sacarme el miedo de hablar y va corrigiendo sobre la marcha. Un genio. Lo recomiendo 100%

Ilya es un excelente docente con un amplio espectro de recursos al momento de enseñar. No sólo por su conocimiento de la gramática, sino también por su gran iniciativa y predisposición para abarcar el contenido de cada estudiante. Asimismo, su conocimiento de literatura anglosajona facilita mucho el proceso didáctico.
Ilya ist ein ausgezeichneter Lehrer. Er hat eine gute Lehrmethode für Studierende. Ich glaube dass er sehr gut vorarbeitet für alle Arten von Schülern ist. Also seine Literaturwissen sind sehr hilfreich für den Austausch.Ilya es un gran profesor no solo por la calidad de sus clases, sino también y fundamentalemnte por su calidad humana! A principios del 2020 comencé a tener clases con el sin poder emitirir una oración completa en ingles. Hoy, con solo un año y medio de ejercitación, puedo mantener conversaciones fluidas, escribir textos largos, defender mis ideas en ingles y enteder a la perfección a los hablantes nativos. De hecho, una gran ventaja de sus clases es que es hablante nativo. Las clases de conversación con él te súper preparan el oído. Recomiendo completamente las clases de Ilya!!!
