About Sara
I first started teaching Spanish about 15 years ago at Lancaster University while doing my MA, I stayed on for another year teaching undergraduates from first to 4th year. I have also taught in Exeter for a private language school for 2 years as well as doing private lessons with people from beginners to fluent speakers wanting to improve their grammar and pronunciation. I have a solid understanding of language learning; experience with the common difficulties people encounter when learning Spanish and a keen interest in seeing people progress and achieve.

I have a friendly and patient manner and I will try different methods to suit individual learning styles. I focus on where the person is at and what they are aiming to achieve and look for different ways in which that knowledge may be best gained for them; sometimes this involves a more grammar-based explanation, sometimes a repetitive role play scenario; whatever is your best way of learning we'll adapt the lessons so you make the most of our time together.
