I have taught Spanish at different levels and for different purposes. From introducing the language from its very basic foundations to preparing a student for their GCSE exams. Have you ever wondered why objects can be female or male in Spanish? Are you tired of conjugating verbs in random ways? Do you feel like you're just making words up every time you speak in Spanish? Stop worrying! I can help you.
After every lesson I do, I upload the content the student and I have gone through to a shared folder online so that we can both keep track of what we've covered. I also tend to incorporate different teaching techniques. From little translation exercises, building up of vocabulary, conjugating verbs, revisiting daunting content to learning about the Spanish culture through YouTube videos and games. I like using Quizlet as it allows me to create a personalised lesson for the student. I adapt easily.
The good thing about these lessons is that you will never have to wait for everybody else to catch up, or on the contrary, if you feel everything is going too fast, there is no one rushing past the content. My goal is to make you look forward to learning a language without feeling stressed. I want to make it fun and entertaining!
