About Gilda
What inspires me, is to see children communicate their ideas well using a different language, from where they can explore other cultures, ideologies and co-create bridges that will make cultures closer to each other rather than apart. I have seen so many misunderstandings between cultures because of a lack of good communication skills, even when using one's own language, and much more when the language is different. In today's world, we need more and more to understand each other, and learning other languages is the first step to do so.
Teaching Spanish (or any other language for that matter) is fun. Working with children has been the highlight of my life and it is the most rewarding job in the world. I believe I can be a good match for the role, not only because I have native well-spoken Spanish communication skills, but because my 20 years of experience as a teacher in Latin American countries gives me, not only a good understanding of the differences between accents and expressions but more so, about how cultures reshape the way people use the language. While teaching in Asia, gave me an understanding and training as to how to be flexible, creative and adaptable in my classes.

I am an experienced Spanish teacher. My Lessons are 50min in length. My approach to teaching is based on an interactive and useful approach always design for each student's needs. I used a range of multimedia and e-media platforms such as Classin, Teams, VLE, Zoom, Teachable and much more.
