About Sarah
I am a 24-year-old graduated student in International Relations at Bologna University (Italy) and I have been enrolled in a Masters here in Dublin at Trinity .
I am half Spanish and half Italian, and though I was born in Granada (Spain) I grew up in Northern Italy. I consider both Spanish and Italian to be my mother languages; in fact, I am bilingual because I have spoken Spanish since a was born, (my mom taught me) and I went to school in Italy.
I am passionate about inspiring students that, no matter what they've been told or the marks they've been getting in school, they can learn the language in an easy and clear way, and succeed in whatever they want to.
You might just want to improve your conversation's skills or to pass an exam, or in general you might just be struggling with the subject in school... in any case, my goal is to instill self-confidence and calmness about learning Spanish. Maybe you've been told you're not good at speaking foreign languages or your teacher is not inspiring enough or is not giving out a productive teaching for you: there is nothing that cannot be fixed the right way. Therefore, my aim is to make you feel safe and relaxed about learning and studying a new language, and to show that (most of the time) it is not the student's fault.

My approach is very much specifically tailored for the student's background and gaps. I personally build the lessons based on the student needs and goal, giving any kind of support and personally providing for high quality material and self-made exercises. My methodology is to teach in a friendly, informal way making the learning fun and interactive but productive and rich.
In my opinion, the minimun lenght of one lesson should be at least 1h30m (which of course always depends on the student's availability and timetable), though this is preferred since I have seen, during my previous experience, that it is the right time a productive and complete lesson requires.
I am a native Spanish speaker with a C1 DELE certification.
My tutoring experience over the years has been addressed toward students of different levels and ages and with different necessity (whether you need to pass an exam or simply are struggling with some topics at school).
In fact, I have tutored middle, high-school, and university students but can absoulutely teach adults or former students who just want to improve their knowledge of the language and related speaking skills.
