Irasema was a colleague of mine in the Rochester city school district. Irasema works above and beyond the ESOL teacher’s duties. She works with the students’ families and makes connections with neighborhood resources to help the English Language Learners. Irasema has attended many professional development opportunities so that she can better help the students. She is in the top 10% as far as English as New Language Teachers in Rochester City School District. She would be an asset to any school.
