About Alisa
I am a native Russian speaker, writer and artist from Russia, now living in the USA. I studied at a Literary Institute and worked as a journalist and editor, helping authors improve their books and texts. I also have experience teaching drawing and supporting creative teenagers. As a mother of three boys, I am very patient and calm with children and adults who are shy or anxious about speaking. I know how it feels to live between countries and languages, so I take every student seriously and try to make our lessons kind, clear and motivating.

Hello! My name is Alisa, I’m a native Russian speaker, writer and artist from Russia, now living in the USA. I teach Russian to kids, teens and adults who want kind, patient and creative lessons. In our classes we speak about real life: family, hobbies, school, travel and feelings. We can also read short texts or books together and, if you like, use drawing and pictures to help remember new words. I adapt each lesson to your level, from complete beginner to advanced conversational practice. My goal is to create a safe atmosphere where you are not afraid to make mistakes and can finally enjoy speaking Russian. I would be happy to see you in my lessons!
