About Alina
Hi there! I'm a creative person whose greatest passion is language. For me, teaching Russian is not just a job; it's a way to share my love for communication and culture. As a lifelong language learner who speaks three languages and is studying two more, I know how to make the learning process feel intuitive and rewarding. Outside of teaching, I'm always exploring new things — whether it's through reading books, drawing, singing, or watching the latest series. This curiosity fuels my teaching, ensuring our lessons will always be fresh, interesting, and tailored to you.

Welcome! My lessons are built on a core belief: language is for real-life communication, not just memorizing boring rules. My goal is to create a friendly, supportive atmosphere where you'll feel comfortable speaking from our very first day, and where making mistakes is just a part of the learning process.
My Teaching Method & A Typical Lesson
I use a communicative approach, meaning we prioritize conversation and practical situations. A typical lesson isn't a rigid lecture. We'll often start by discussing topics that genuinely interest you – from anime and video games to science and travel! We then use this context to learn new vocabulary and grammar, immediately putting it into practice through dialogue, interactive exercises, and real-life scenarios. For younger students, I love using engaging games to make learning effective and fun.
What Sets Me Apart
With 5 years of experience, including teaching at Novosibirsk State University, I bring a professional and structured approach to our lessons. But what truly makes my teaching unique is my ability to connect with students through our shared interests. I believe that learning is most effective when it's exciting and relevant to you.
