About Paula Alaraz
I am a Spanish and ESOL teacher who has experience working with students of all ages in Scotland and Spain. I offer ESOL and Spanish lessons to students of all levels. I hold a masters in Teaching English to speakers of Other languages (TESOL) , a BA in English as a Second Language (ESL) from the University of the West of Scotland and a BA in English Studies: Language, Literature in Culture from Universidad Nacional de Educacion a Distancia.
I have 5 years of teaching experience in private and public schools in Spain, as well as private tuition in Scotland. I have taught children from the age of 3 to the end of primary school as well as adults and I can easily adapt my teaching methods to the students' requirements.

I like to adapt my methodology to the requirements of each student, therefore I like to listen to the students' aims and needs. I understand that language is everywhere, not only in the books, for this reason, I like to teach English in a way that is relevant for the student, where he/she can find it useful and easy to use in a day to day basis.

Perfect! I have had several Spanish lessons with Paula. She is quite simply, an outstanding teacher who is incredibly knowledgeable, patient and encouraging. She thoroughly plans and prepares her lessons which are challenging, insightful and fun! I very much look forward to my weekly class, thoroughly enjoy it and leave feeling totally inspired with a great sense of achievement. I would highly recommend Paula to anyone wishing to learn or improve their Spanish. She is wonderful!
