About Francisco
I am a musician and educator from Mexico, currently based in the Netherlands, with over a decade of experience performing, conducting, and teaching at a professional level. I hold a Master of Music in Piano Performance from the Boston Conservatory and a Master of Music in Conducting from the University of Michigan, where I am completing my Doctorate in Orchestral Conducting — one of the most rigorous and competitive graduate programs in the United States.
Throughout my academic and professional career, I have worked alongside world-class musicians, scholars, and educators, an environment that has instilled in me exceptionally high standards — not only for performance, but for teaching. I know what focused, disciplined, and effective instruction looks like, and I bring that same standard to every student I work with.
As a native Spanish speaker from Mexico with professional-level English, I am uniquely positioned to teach Spanish to English-speaking learners. I understand the linguistic and cultural gaps between both languages intimately, which allows me to explain things clearly, correct errors precisely, and accelerate your progress in ways that a non-native teacher simply cannot.

About My Spanish Lessons
My name is Francisco, and I am a native Spanish speaker from Mexico with graduate-level academic training in the United States. I have spent years teaching and coaching in highly demanding musical and academic environments, which has sharpened my ability to explain complex concepts clearly, adapt to each individual learner, and keep students genuinely engaged.
My approach is structured but flexible. I believe that language learning works best when grammar and conversation are taught together — not in isolation. From the very first lesson, you will be speaking and producing real Spanish, not just memorizing rules.
