About Han
I'm originally from China, now based in Aberdeen, UK. As a native Mandarin speaker with a UK Master's degree and a mum myself, I understand how children and beginners learn best. I offer patient, practical lessons using songs, games and everyday conversation. Whether you want to help your child maintain Chinese, start from scratch, or prepare for travel to China, I'll make learning natural and enjoyable.

My lessons are relaxed, friendly and tailored to what you need.
For children, I use songs, games, flashcards and everyday objects to make learning fun and natural. Kids learn best when they're enjoying themselves!
For adult beginners, we focus on practical everyday conversation — greetings, numbers, colours, food, travel phrases — so you can start using Mandarin in real life as soon as possible.
How a typical lesson works:
• A short chat about your goal for the lesson
• Fun activities and conversation practice
• Gentle correction and encouragement
• A quick recap at the end
No pressure, no grammar overload — just natural, enjoyable Mandarin learning with a native speaker from China. First lesson is free, so let's start with a relaxed chat!

Han is my sister, and I know her to be a very patient, reliable, and caring person. She has a clear and encouraging way of explaining Mandarin, and she always tries to make learning feel comfortable and practical. I appreciate how she adapts to different people’s needs and helps them build confidence step by step. I would highly recommend Han to anyone looking for a kind and dedicated Mandarin tutor.
