About Chih-Wei
I am a native Mandarin speaker from Taiwan and currently studying a Master of Science (Chemistry) at Flinders University. I have one year of teaching experience in Taiwan and enjoy helping students learn through clear explanations and practical communication.
I believe learning a language is not only about memorizing vocabulary and grammar, but also about understanding the culture behind it. My lessons focus on helping students develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing Mandarin while exploring Taiwanese culture and everyday expressions.
I hope to create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students can enjoy learning Mandarin and achieve their personal language goals.

My techniques and teaching methodology:
1. Provide articles, news, and short stories to help students expand their vocabulary and improve their speaking, listening, and reading skills.
2. Provide writing practice to help students improve their writing skills.
3. Full-Mandarin lessons are available for students who would like an immersive learning experience.
4. Lessons can be adjusted according to each student's goals, level, and learning pace.
Typical length of a lesson: 60 minutes.
A one-hour lesson provides enough time to introduce new materials, practice language skills, and answer students' questions while maintaining effective concentration.
